Introducing the Palos Verdes Wine Club: A New Local Destination for Wine Lovers

For South Bay locals who love the charm of California wine country but not the drive, there’s good news: the wine country experience just got a lot closer. The newly opened Palos Verdes Wine Club is bringing the rolling hills, rich reds and crisp whites of Santa Barbara, Paso Robles, Sonoma and Napa right to the heart of Palos Verdes.

Founded by Hollywood Riviera resident Jeff Rinna, a long-time wine enthusiast, the Palos Verdes Wine Club is more than just a wine shop—it’s a destination. Jeff fell in love with California’s wine regions nearly 25 years ago after moving from Michigan. From the sun-drenched vineyards and winding country roads, to the laid-back music and farm-to-table food, Jeff wanted to recreate the full wine country experience closer to home. Now, with the help of his wife Jasmin, he’s done just that.

The Club features regional wines not found in stores, sourced from smaller, family-owned vineyards known for quality and character. Each month, a different California wine region takes center stage, spotlighting four wineries from that area. It’s a curated journey through California’s wine landscape—no road trip required.

Guests can enjoy interactive tasting flights, live music and small plates in the elegant Club Room and outdoor patio, making it the perfect first stop on a night out –– or a destination all its own. The club also hosts private tasting events, winemaker talks, and exclusive wine dinners, creating a true community hub for local wine lovers.

While the Club is open to the public, membership has its perks: discounts on purchases and tastings, free delivery on the Peninsula, and VIP invitations to members-only events.

With its misty mornings, lush vegetation and coastal charm, the South Bay already feels a bit like wine country –– and now, thanks to the Palos Verdes Wine Club, it tastes like it too.

Cheers to new beginnings and new vintages—right in our own backyard. You can learn more about the Palos Verdes Wine Club at pvwineclub.com. It is located at 767 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, phone 310-377-7892.
